  W3C is a flexible, flame retardant heat-shrinkable polyolefin tubing with a thick
  wall of modified polyamide adhesive which melts and flows, encapsulating
  and sealing components contained within. (For colors use W3B2).
   
  W3C is recommended for applications requiring water-proofing for light cable
  and wire harnesses and protection of connector components. Its 3 to 1 shrink
  ratio allows it to easily fit over irregular surfaces and large connectors.

* Some types of heat shrink, for instance semi-rigid and dual wall types are manufactured in 4 foot lengths. the rigid and semi-rigid ones do not bend without kinking, the adhesives in dual walls tend to stick or block shut when spooled.
