Custom Printed Heatshrink

Graphics, bar codes, text or combinations of these, can be imprinted on heat shrink tubing from heatshrink.com. There are no tooling or set-up charges on text printing, with the exception of a modest charge when graphics are involved may apply

GENERAL TERMS, CONDITIONS AND OTHER STUFF YOU SHOULD KNOW.
We will not accept orders by phone! Orders can be accepted only if mailed or faxed. If you think about this, it only makes sense and eliminates disappointment, waste and mistakes.

Shmarkers™ are shipped cut to length unless non-cut continuous length or perforated cut (kiss-cut) is specified.

IMPRINT COLORS:
Black, White, Red, Blue, Gold and Silver. Other colors may also be available, either in stock or special order.

HOW PERMANENT IS THIS IMPRINTING ANYWAY?
Black printing on light colored tubing is permanent and meets MIL-M-81531 for both abrasion and solvent resistance. Black printing on black tubing also meets this spec but is not recommended, for obvious reasons. See, you do learn things by reading fine print.

The print permanence of White, Blue, Red, Gold and Silver print does not precisely meet the MIL Spec, but they are "tuff enuf" for 99% of all applications.

HOW MUCH DO I GET MY GRAPHICS ON MY SHMARKERS™ AND WHAT DOES IT COST?
(Please read the "Never Overlook the Obvious..." section.) We can scan it from letterheads, business cards and such. The final print quality is 200 dots per inch (the same as a "fine" quality fax). We recommend

you send an enlarged version of your artwork to ensure that fine details will be picked up by the scanner. After scanning it is reduced back down to the correct dimensions for the tubing size you order and then we "clean up" the image. This procedure does take some time, usually around 30 minutes. We charge $40.00 per hour for graphic services with a $20.00 minimum. There is no graphic charge for subsequent orders of the same Shmarker™.

You can send your graphic to us on disk. The technical requirements for the disk are: 3 1/2" High Density Floppy. File format is .BMP, 1 bit per pixel (Black & White line art), 200 x 200 dpi, no exceptions. We can add text to your graphics but we recommend you include all your text in the graphic. We require the creator of the disk to inspect the graphic on a high level of magnification before sending it to us. If you don't understand what this means, call us.

If your order consists of ALL text imprinting, there is no graphic charge.

We usually ship within 2 working days, 24 hours can be requested at no additional charge and is usually available.
