  W5DL is a semi-rigid, dual wall polyolefin heat-shrinkable tubing.
  When heated the inner liner melts and flows to encapsulate (note adhesive lined)
  components or splices contained within.
  W5DL is recommended in applications for connections and wire harnesses
  where filling voids and intersects is of importance. W5DL provides good strain
  relief because it does not adhere to the substrate material; it can be removed for
  repair of components.

* Some types of heat shrink, for instance semi-rigid and dual wall types are manufactured in 4 foot lengths. the rigid and semi-rigid ones do not bend without kinking, the adhesives in dual walls tend to stick or block shut when spooled.
